A Facebook message in May 2024.

• Isaac Muwewesi friended Max Alston on Facebook in July 2020.
• In May 2024 he asked Max to start a GoFundMe for him.
• Max asked: What do you need?
• That is when we found out he was caring for 100 orphans.
• We decided to help!
• Isaac is 33, a pastor, and the sales manager of a motorcycle shop in Jinja.

• Today every child who lives at the school has a bed and a foot locker of their own.
• Three meals a day.

A school that had already failed once.

• The building was Royal Park School. It closed because the families around it could not afford the fees, and stood empty for three years.
• He Is Worthy rented it in January 2024 and bought it in May 2026. It is Great Love Junior Academy now.
• 494 children attend. 140 of them sleep there.
• The boys sleep in one of the seven classrooms — there is no boys’ dormitory yet.

We went to see for ourselves.

• On our first day in Uganda, Pastor Isaac asked if we would go and see an area that was not on our schedule. We went.
• What Pastor Isaac had not told us was that he had sent 48 of the children from that village to Great Love Junior Academy, so they could eat and get an education their parents could not afford.
• We met Julius and Mary Auma that day. Both families were living in mud houses.
• Both are now in houses of their own, built and paid for.
• We think God was softening our hearts that day, and preparing us for what He was going to do.
